In just three years, HARTING developed and successfully implemented a state-of-the-art Digital Experience Platform (DXP) together with UDG. The platform now acts as the heart of digital sales and distribution and is also a central pillar of product support. A particular challenge was to create a globally deployable solution that ensures a seamless user experience - a goal that HARTING successfully achieved with our help.

A digital vision turns to reality

The HARTING management wanted an efficient, high-performance platform that combines modern design with innovative technology:

  • Like a "digital super sports car“ it was supposed to be flexibly adabtable to global “market racetracks"

  • and guarantee inspiring user experiences.

  • In addition, sales, support and product information should also be integrated under one common framework.

" We are very pleased that the project was implemented so quickly and successfully.

Our process

Agile working method

In addition to an introduction to the fundamentals of agile methods, the primary objective was to ensure its integration into daily processes. To this end, we established mixed teams comprising UDG staff with extensive training in agile working, who in turn transferred their expertise to their HARTING colleagues in the collaborative project. Consequently, the customer team was able to seamlessly assume responsibility for further development at the commencement of the global rollout.

Knowledge transfer

In addition to developing a customized digital platform, the long-term objective was to ensure that the HARTING team could operate the new platform independently and continuously develop it further. Therefore, the focus was on empowering the customer team to adopt an independent, agile working approach.
